My sweet Samantha

Samantha is having lots of fun this year! She has a new neighbor, Pansey, that moved in a few months ago. They play so well together and I am so glad! She's bees such a help to her sister, Rachel, and I am so blessed to have her as my daughter.

This year Samantha won 2nd place in the Langston Hughes imitation poetry contest. There were 3 counties competing and she won second for her poem! What a creative child! I know her teacher and writing teacher (pictured) are proud. I am so proud of you, Samantha!

Trip to LA

Samantha had a great time in Louisiana! Her mom grew up there so she went for a visit a few weeks ago. She got to eat at the Boiling Point and climb the same trees her mother used to climb as a child. She was so excited to see her family and she had so much fun! Here is a photo of her on her trip.

Father Daughter Dance

Samantha and her daddy went to the Valentine Father/Daughter dance! Samantha was so beautiful! She had her hair done and got to wear a new "fancy dress". Afterwards they went to Percy & Willies and Jason (her daddy) ordered Samantha the adult marinated steak but by the time it arrived Samantha had fallen asleep on Daddy's lap! Mom then got a marinated steak! They both had a great time. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
